Nickel can be deposited on most alloys and metals and offers a hard wear resistant finish, also achieving corrosion resistance when coated with a thin layer of Chrome.

Sateen, bright, semi bright are available and a matt Nickel is offered where low stress functional deposits are required.

When a thin deposit of Brass or Copper is applied over the Nickel followed by a clear lacquer coloured and antique finishes also become available and are used in the decorative furniture and lighting industies.
